OK so I did it. I played Organ Trail. And I dragged some of you suckers along with me because I can mwahaha. Lets see how this goes.

Thus, we head toward the largest Safe Haven in North America, which happens to be somewhere in Oregon because that makes sense? ONWARDS.
Also quick personal post, for anyone who’s interested in how my Oregon Trail: Zombies session went today before I go back to writing drabbles and reading comic books and not sleeping
Team Leader Clint did pretty good. Bobbi kept getting Cholera and Measles and breaking her leg. We had barely enough med kits and all of our money got stolen before we reached Philadelphia. Bruce broke his leg at one point but otherwise gave us no trouble. Scavenging for food was both stressful and really fun. Natasha was doing great until she also broke her leg around Indianapolis. Fuel started running low and somehow we made it to St. Louis with a can to spare. Then T’Challa, who had no problem so far, contracted the G-Virus and died of it and had to be put out of his misery before he turned into a zombie and started to infect us all. Bobbi got the measles again and Kenna gave up due to feels.

Long post alert. Sorry.
I’ve been working on some kandi bracelets (y’know, though bracelets made with pony beads - are they only called ‘kandi’ when they’re meant for raves? Whatever). I’m pretty proud with how they’ve turned out, though I realized I need to make some more sans-text.
These are the first three I made. I love the “<3Brains,” which was the only zombie reference I could think of. The Guild is the webshow that I follow, which I love, and those were the only colors I could think of for it. DFTBA is the code all Nerdfighters live by: Don’t Forget To Be Awesome. Now I can wear it and be identified by other Nerdfighters I happen to pass by!
The next set of bracelets all go together, and each corresponds with one of the four main houses in the George R. R. Martin ‘Song of Ice and Fire’ book series (well known by the first book, “Game of Thrones”). The Stark family symbol is the black Direwolf on a white plain, the Baratheon symbol is the black stag on a yellow field, the Lannister symbol is the yellow lion on a red field, and the Targaryen symbol is the red dragon on a black field (admittedly, the red on the ‘lion’ bracelet looks more orange - I might change it). Worn together, any fan of the books will know what the bracelets mean, but I can also wear them separately and they’ll still be cool.
This is the one I’m most proud of. I love Portal, so obviously I had to make a bracelet for it. It took me forever to think of what the phrase should be - just “Portal” by itself seemed too plain, but every phrase I could think of was too long. I finally got “It wont be enough,” which is a hint given to the player about a third of the way in if you save one of the few turrets that doesn’t want to kill you.
The blue and orange colors perfectly match the actual portal colors, which surprised me. At the back of the bracelet, I recreated the Weighted Companion Cube with one of my heart beads surrounded by white beads. I’m particularly proud, because I designed this bracelet all on my own, and it took me quite a while to figure out how to make it three-tiered like it is. And now I have a bunch of new kandi (or whatever)!
